This small rectangular pill box offers a little window into an everlasting garden. Two bright white daisies stretch across the center, their golden hearts alive against a backdrop of deep black glass. Around them, bursts of scarlet poppies, tiny blue blossoms, and clusters of green leaves create a lush, layered bouquet. Each flower formed from slivers of Murano glass tesserae, hand-cut and set into place with patient precision. A neat checkerboard border of black, white, and the deepest red frames the floral scene, giving it the look of a miniature painting carried in the palm of your hand.
The sides of the box are crafted in richly detailed silver-toned metal, etched with scrolling baroque flourishes that add a sense of weight and permanence to the piece. Open the hinged lid, and the interior reveals a patina earned over decades—evidence of a life lived, of secrets and mementos once tucked safely inside.

Romantic and practical in equal measure, a small but powerful emblem of Italy’s enduring artistry. Its rectangular form is unusual among mosaics of this kind, making it as much a collector’s prize as a daily companion for keeping treasures close at hand.
